Celtic Gold's breeding is also exceptional as he carries the blood of Clover Hill, who is in the Top 10 Showjumping sires of the world, on his dams side and on his sires side he carries the blood of one of Irelands finest mares, Enniskeane Countess whose name appears in many of the top international horses as does Clover Hill. In
August 1999 Celtic Gold began his competitive career in Australia and in the
jumping season 1999/2000 he achieved some exceptional results including: 2nd Wodonga World Cup Show - Futurity 1st Holden Grand Prix - Lang Lang Agricultural Show 1st - Barastoc Showjumping Horse of the Year - Werribee Park Celtic Gold is our "quiet achiever" - he has a classic technique with apparent endless scope and he never stops "trying" whether in training or competition and is rarely out of the placings in any class he competes in. He has achieved his points at major shows and is proving to be one of the most consistent horses we have seen for many years. |
