The fifth leg of this long series was held at Punchestown in County Kildare on a weekend which was busy with the International CCI***, CCI**, CCI* and the CCIY** all happening!

Unfortunately the weather gods once again did not shine kindly on Punchestown and it was a bitterly cold, wet and windy weekend, with cross country day and Grand Prix showjumping day being particularly nasty and this no doubt kept many potential spectators away, preferring to stay home in front of a warm fire!

Those who braved the weather rugged up well and were rewarded by great bargains at the trade stands situated around the main jumping arena.

Killosery Lodge Stud was well represented at Punchestown this weekend with Ciaran Glynn - pictured right - placing 5th in the CCI** and Sara Glynn winning the CCIY**.
There was something for everyone in the trade stand area and the lad - pictured left - was trying out his future vehicle for burning around the cross country course maybe!
Some found "other means" of transport - pictured right - but few would go to the trouble of saddle up!
The show jumping arena - pictured above - would have looked a picture with some sunshine beaming down on it - but that was not the case today and the strong winds made sure that all the flags were displaying themselves perfectly!
Course walk for the Boswell national 1.40m Grand Prix league was fun for some - pictured left ........ and serious for some - pictured below - Mark Flynn and mentor Richie Moloney!
For some the course walk was a place to catch up with people - pictured below - John Ledingham and Paul O'Shea.
