The stars shone as the showjumpers danced the
night away. The
Showjumpers Ball was a glittering affair with people flying in from all around
the world to be at the Killashee house Hotel in Naas, County Kildare and the
place was jumping until the music finished and breakfast was served at 4am.....full

was no different with the addition this year of the Paul Darragh Perpetual

Young Australian receives a wild card to Dressage
World Cup Young
Australian rider, Stephanie Dijkstra has received a wild card to ride at the
Young Rider World Cup Dressage Championships to be held next month in Frankfurt,

Chairman of Irish International Affairs resigns
last night..... After
a major disagreement last night, Taylor Vard resigned as Chairman of International
Affairs. The disagreement allegedly erupted between Vard and the four selectors
over the appointment of Robert Splaine as Chef d'Equip without a contract
being in place. We understand Vard's letter of resignation was received this
morning, leaving
................International Affairs without
a leader.

A new show on the Australian calendar for the
jumpers A
group of showjumping supporters have banded to getehr to put on an excellent
program of jumping at the Sydney Showjumping Club on 28th and 29th January,

International Grand Prix sees an Irish win! Peter
Gillespie set the riders a tough track for this evenings course and of the
39 starters just 8 combinations went through to the jump off and gave us a
very exciting jump off with the end result seeing on two double clears....full

The 6 & 7 year old class saw super horses
in the Final The
final of the Irish Horse Board sponsored 6 & 7 year old class had 20 in
it with just seven going through to the jump off. Peter Gillespie built a
difficult track for these young horses and the riders managed it with total

Cavan host their November International Show As
always, the numbers were huge, the jumping spectacular and the quality of
horses fabulous with excellent classes for all levels of horses from 4 year
