Irish showjumpers and officials meet at Dublin
Airport today A
conciliatory meeting is scheduled to take place at Dublin Airport today to
try and sort out the issues which are currently splitting the Ireland as sides
are taken everywhere. It is understood that Jessica Kurtten, Harry Marshall
and Cian O'Connor are amongst the invited. Watch this space!

The Irish Draughts were under saddle for the
first time at Dublin For
the first time in the history of the Dublin Show the national breed, the Irish
Draught Horse was seen and judged under saddle rather than only in hand and
the interest was enormous for this class......full

The Irish couldn't win their own Aga Khan Cup
but ....... they
have managed to claw their way off the bottom of the Leaderboard for this
6th round. The Brits won it in fine style and even Michael Whitaker's last

Irish showjumping troubles continue........ Two
of the five selectors resigned last night as Dublin Horse Show came to a close.
Tom Slattery (the riders representative) and Liam Buckley called it quits
last evening after much discussion regarding team selection. With the next
Super League fixture in Aachen, Ireland cling by their fingernails to stay
in the Super League.

NICK SKELTON AND RUSSELL TAKE THE PUISSANCE The
euro11,300 prize for first in the richest PUissance in the world went to Britain's
Nick Skelton today when they were the only ones to successfully clear 2.10m
at Dublin Horse Show today and they did it without appearing to raise a sweat.

AGA KHAN CUP GOES TO GREAT BRITAIN FOR THE 23rd
TIME..... With
6 points in hand the Brits were in the lead as their last rider came out -
Michael Whitaker was clocking up a clear round to take the win and even when
Michael lowered the last fence and collected a time penalty they still won
