They flew in from everywhere for the highlight of the showjumping social calendar - this is the night when it is sometimes hard to recognise people without their helmets and jodphurs as everyone turned up in their finery.........................................................

Wayne Sherry catches up for a drink with Australian Kirstin Coote, - pictured left - Environmental Scientist and Showjumper who is based in London.

Kirstin and Australian boyfriend, Ash Waters, an Engineer - pictured below - flew in for the weekend to enjoy the festivities.

The equestrian world is not without its celebrities and many of these were there for the evening - and even the dressage fraternity came for the fun!
Kevin O'Sullivan - pictured above left - is full of kisses for everyone as he enjoys the company of the showjumping fraternity while Grania Willis - pictured above right - looked stunning.
Fiction novelist and showjumper, Brett Campbell originally from South Africa and his Swiss born wife, Sylvia also a showjumper, joined the jumpingaround.com table to see how the Irish celebrate their showjumpers achievements and had a great night.
Model and dressage rider, Gillian Quinn joined Nial Quirke's table and danced the night away - pictured right - enjoyed a laugh with friends.

Movie producer, Frances O'Reilly - pictured left - , a keen showjumping fan and rider, found time out from her busy schedule to attend the Ball escorted by Wayne Sherry, who is shortly heading to Australia to escape the Irish winter.

Frances is currently working on two projects, both of which are under wraps - so no preview news tonight!

It does look like Tony Parkes - pictured left - is asking for assistance with his camera but that isn't the case as the man knows exactly what he is doing! Tony was there to cover the event for his and Louise's new equestrian magazine, Ireland's Horse and Pony.
