The Equestrian International Stables in Benoni, South Africa again held their 4 day spectacular - the Children and Junior Classique event which sees riders from neighbouring nations and also included an invitation to a team from New Zealand and Australia.

With 600 horses and ponies jumping from early in the morning until dark each day the atmosphere was electric and the 3,000 plus spectators enjoyng every minute of jumping.

The 40 events were held in 2 sand arenas with competitiors from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Mauritus and South Africa.

The Individual competition saw Australian Emma Smith take out first placing. Sheridan Manuel comes home with a first place and 2 second placings, Coco Miles brings 2 6th placings with her and Aaron Hadlow took out two 3rd placings.

The Children's Team Event saw New Zealand winning with a total of 4 penalties and 2nd place went to South Africa with a total of 12 penalties.

The Junior Team Event was an Australian victory with a total of 15 penalties to Sth Africa's team who finished second with a total of 34 penalties.

The Australian team,under the guidance of Australian Showjumping legend, Gavin Chester, was Emma Smith, Sheridan Manuel, Coco Miles and Aaron Hadlow.
