THE LINKS OF LONDON GRAND PRIX (Mon 20th Dec)

Robert Smith (GBR) on Kalusha jumped two stunning clears to finish first in the prestigious Links of London Grand Prix. The pair's performance of unbeatable speed and precision earned them the £40,000 prize.

Ireland's Jessica Kurten gave Robert Smith a run for his money. Jessica riding Castle Forbes Libertina jumped a blistering round, leaving no margin for error.

Robert Whitaker - pictured left - son of John, is often pitted against his father, uncle and cousins and with so many Whitakers currently competing at top International level there is rarely a presentation that does not include two or more of this legendary family.
Most riders would be happy to have either Arko or Russell - Nick Skelton is twice blessed - pictured above and right - as he has the ride on both these superstar International showjumping stallions, owned by the Hales family.
