Linda Crutchley and Monochrome Apache - pictured left - the 7 year old piebald gelding by Apache Warrior out of Brigid showed in class 27 for horses exceeding 153cm.
The Judges in the showrings have to awarded something for their bravery - I certainly don't know too many Judges in the Australian showring that would get on 20+ strange horses and walk, trot, canter and gallop them - and they all seem to be superb riders - I applaud their talent and bravery.
Prizes are awarded and the one thing you can

guarantee the winners are always happy with the Judges decision - and in the case of class 26, photographer, Katrina, picked the winner from the moment the horses walked into Ring 1 - and the number of photos of exhibit 144, Liam Geddes, Irish Horse Reviews Jigsaw - pictured above right at presentation - proves this. Jigsaw - also pictured below left and right - , the dun and white (although some refer to the colour as lemon and white) 4 year old gelding has no breeding listed and he is for sale. The purchaser of this handsome youngster will no doubt have much pleasure in all areas of equestrian sport with him.

Exhibit 230, Finbarr McCarthy's Picture Puzzle - pictured above right in presentation - took second place and again this is a beautiful example of a coloured horse.

Everything about Jigsaw is perfect and then the finishing touch is the intelligent head and soft eye on him - pictured left.
The horse - pictured right - caught Katrina's eye with his catching colour - and the 7 year old skewbald gelding is aptly named Charlie Blue.
