The handsome chestnut stallion, Tinkas' Boy, who partnered with Swiss rider Markus Fuchs always seems to be so happy when out in the jumping arenas around the world has suffered a severe tendon injury.

The 15 year old stallion was competing at one of the last shows for 2004, CSI La Coruna when during the Grand Prix Markus Fuchs had to withdraw after the fourth fence in the jump off of a clas sin which he was leading the class with the fastest clear round in the first round of the class.

Initially the Veterinary examination showed a stress fracture in the left front leg but later examinations in Switzerland proved this to not be the case with it being a tendon injury.

Unfortunately for Tinkas' Boy he is now to be confined to his box for several months for a full recovery to be made.

Just days before the injury occured in Spain at the four star CSI event, Markus and Tinkas' Boy won, for the fifth consecutive time, the Swiss Owner's Trophy for Stefanie Wagishauser who owns Tinkas' Boy. Markus also took second in the Swiss Owner's Trophy for Adolfo Juri who owns the fantastic mare La Toya III.

Tinkas' Boy is one of the "great stallions" of todays showjumping and has proved himself to have the talent and to also pass this on to his progeny.

The semen is available from this approved KWPN stallion who, just weeks prior to his injury, was given an excellent veterinary certificate. You can contact the facilities listed below for information on breeding with this wonderful stallion.

Tinkas' Boy - the world of showjumping wishes a speedy and full recovery and we hope to see you back in the arena as soon as possible!
