Christmas time has arrived - for those in the Northern Hemisphere many of the horses are turned out and enjoying a well earned rest, as are their riders and grooms and other important support crew - the weather has turned cold and Christmas will dinner will most likely be a hot turkey and assorted hot meats with lots of roast vegies ......not so in Australia!

The jumpingaround.com crew are based in Victoria at the moment and the forecast is for a lovely warm Christmas day so cold meats and quantities of fresh seafood is the order of the day and we are looking forward to sitting outside and enjoying the weather and the company of family and friends!

Our wish for our readers is that you have a wonderful Christmas day and that Santa brings you "most" of your wishes - if he brings everything on your list, there will be nothing left for next year!

Between Christmas and New Year we will be bringing you our pictorial "year in review" and hope you enjoy it and may 2005 bring you and your horses success and happiness in all you pursue and for showjumping may 2005 be a year where the sport moves ahead and leaves the controversy of 2004 well behind.

Merry Christmas from all the staff at jumpingaround.com
