State President Resigns

Mr Reg Cleland submitted his resignation as President of the Equestrian Federation of Australia Victorian Branch Incorporated to the Board of Directors on Tuesday 16 December.

It was with great regret that the Board accepted his resignation.

Mr Cleland has been involved with the EFA for many years and has served as President of the Victorian Branch from 1994 to the time of his resignation.

Mr Cleland has been involved in all facets of EFA operations and has been instrumental in guiding most of the event management and discipline committees at one time or another. His contribution at Board level will be missed.

Mr Cleland will maintain his position as constituent representative, for the Melbourne Showjumping Club, on the Branch Committee.

The Board wishes to extend a vote of appreciation to Mr Cleland on behalf of all Victorian members for his contribution to equestrian sport in this State and to the Equestrian Federation nationally.
