Before continuing I must make mention of a couple of people - Gitte Donvig was in charge of the Media and she has done a fabulous job - results were quickly distributed to those there working - the work space set aside for the Media is a great innovation and thanks for that - it is something which makes life so much easier - and the smile never left Gitte's face regardless of the demands made of her - if news of this woman's ability to run a Media centre ever gets out I suspect she will be snapped up by events run anywhere in the world. Thanks Gitte for a job exceptionally well done.

jumpingaround.com will not be giving you a full list of results as these will be available on many sites no doubt - check in here for the official web site where the full results are listed.

So to the main events on the Saturday - which was when we saw the Master Classes for both Jumping and Dressage - and also the final judging for both disciplines.

One of the highlights of the day as definitely the Grand Prix Kur which was won by Ricky Macmillan and Crisp - their performance was graceful, vibrant and superb - and the Judges obviously thought so as they won the class with a score of 72.56% from Mary Hanna and Limbo who scored 71.48% with a test which was lovely and flowing but somehow lacked the vibrancy of Crisp's test.

Ricky and Crisp will be representing Australia at the World Cup Final in 2004 and if she performs like she did at Werribee this weekend I can only say that this combination would have to be well received by the Judges and we at jumpingaround.com wish her all the best for her trip.

Left:Ricky Macmillan and Crisp strut their stuff complete with the ever-present smile on Ricky's face - this is one rider who always looks like she is really enjoying herself - but riding
such a delightful and talented horse would bring the smile to any rider - they are a delightful partnership. Above: Heath Ryan, the consummate performer whether in the ring or on his way to the ring he always gives the crowd a great performance - in the above photo Heath and Greenoaks Dundee head to "do their stuff for the Judges" performing their Grand Prix test which saw them take 3rd placing with 62.42%.
The Grand Prix riders gave a fabulous demonstration on their way to presentation and the crowd roared their approval as they passaged and piaffed their way around the arena. There were extensions to die for and all the riders and horses looked content and relaxed which seemed to add to the beauty of this display.

Right and Below: Ricky and Crisp show off their winning style as they make their way to presentation.

Great to see New Zealand's Jacqui Winspear and her lovely Appaloosa, I'm Sunday's Silhouette competing at the show and the audience certainly loves this delightful combination-below.

leave the arena after the last horse performed it's Grand Prix Kur and headed to the very appropriately decorated Gold Section (below) which carried the Athens scheme in the lead up to the 2005 Athens Olympic where perhaps we might see Gothlif Riexinger and Ernst Holtz judging perhaps.
Below: Even the Judges tables followed the Athens theme - and isn't the tradition of head judge bowing to competitor a delightful one!
Below: Lovely bottoms are a great sight in this lineup!
