Thursday, traditionally known as Ladies Day, was greeted with bright blue skies and warm and welcome sunshine which brought the Ladies out in their finery - and this year we note with interest that more and more men are making the decision to dress up for the occasion.
Ladies Day is more than just an excuse to dress up - the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow includes a trip for two to Paris, staying at the famous Ritz Hotel and then onto the world renowned spa at the Evian Royal Parc Hotel in the French Alps - not bad for dressing up in your best finery really!
The phone was running hot as Karen O'Connor from Dublin - pictured left and right - just had to tell everyone that she had won the €10,000 first prize package for being judged the Best Dressed Lady 2007.
