HOLDEN POWERS EVENTING WORLD!

Dateline: Melbourne, Australia - Gitte Donvig - 9th June, 2005

Horseland Melbourne International Three-Day Event presented by Holden All Wheel Drive is gearing up for the Queens Birthday Weekend, just outside of Melbourne in Australia.

Held at Werribee Park Equestrian Centre, the event is set to be the stage for the countries next Olympic stars. The competition will be fierce as the eventing industry vies to win back their gold medal throne.

Every four years we see Olympians emerge… where do they come from? At this event spectators can see, from the grass roots up, riders begin the gruelling journey that is the road to an Olympic games. Can you pick an Olympian?

Building on the events previous successes, there is an all new trade village, new water complex and new and exciting 'intimate spectator friendly' group of fences. The event will see champions emerge, and dreams fulfilled… there are many Aussie battler stories to play witness to here.

Shane Rose will be making an awesome comeback after an horrific accident in March. Young gun Catherine Davies will start Queens Ransom after loosing her first three star horse Queens Consort earlier this year.

Keep an eye out for Rebel Morrow, star of the third edition of the Black and White Magazine. There is also everyone's old favourite, Heath Ryan - coach, rider and granddaddy of the sport! And the rat pack of eventing; staring Boyd Martin, Luke Jones and Kevin McNab will be out to prove they are more than just pretty faces…

RACV Farm Insurance is delighted to be a sponsor of the prestigious equestrian ˜Melbourne International Three-Day Event which will be held over the Queen's birthday weekend June 10 - 13.
