The Grand Prix class however belonged to the Dutch - they didn't just claim it quietly either - they grabbed it and ran all the way to the top with such a firm hold! The great thing was the amazing buzz around the place - everyone, from riders to judges, Grooms and supporters were totally in awe of the magic they watched when Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas entered the arena and not one grizzle was heard about the marks given. |

After the class, Chair of Judges, Eric Lette commented about the high level of enjoyment the Judges had judging such high quality riders and horses and of course commented on the incredible performance of Edward Gal and Moorlands Totilas who broke yet another world record with their score of 84.085 %. Make no mistake however, that this combination were marked fairly - there were no huge marks thrown around haphazardly - this combination scored 3's and 4's when mistakes were made - and mistakes were made! The stallion is only 9 years old and still has plenty of maturing to do and as such he does make mistakes and his rider admits to making mistakes himself in such a humble way that one can only find this combination pleasing in every way.
