The Grade C Tournament was between Carrickmines Red and Carrickmines White teams and they were seriously competitive riders on both teams, even though they are form the same Club. The Red team were the victors in this Tournament but the White Team never stopped trying and the final result was close enough. |

| These horses have amazing power and it all comes from their powerful engines - the game sees horses rocking back onto the haunches and launching forward at amazing speed, whilst at the same time turning on a sixpence. | ||||||||||||||||||

The Irish Polocrosse Association (IPA), based in Tipperary, is a very active association so well lead by Chariman Tom O'Malley - pictured right - who is quite obviously passionate about the sport. His passion becomes evident the moment he spots new people at a Tournament, asking questions about the sport. Tom made a line for jumpingaround.com when he saw us asking questions about the sport and how it was played and where everyone came from - and he came armed with a huge smile, a lilting Irish accent and the ability to explain the game simply but fully in a way which anyone could understand and everyone would walk away inspired to get into it! |
