Ladies Day has always been a "big deal" at the Dublin Horse Show and men, women and children have dressed for the day in droves - but there is no doubt that this year the recession has seen the numbers well down - and having said that the more outlandish hats and outfits were definitely less!

Does this mean that with recession comes elegance perhaps???
