Saturday was perfect - you could not ask for better conditions - a light breeze kept temperatures from getting too high with the brightest, bluest skies all day with not a whisp of cloud to be seen - the perfect weather for showjumping! The mornings classes saw One Round Stakes classes for all grades, which is a fancy name for a Speed class. The C&D grade class saw 50+ entries with entries in the B&C grade up around the 40 mark. New South Welshman, Des GLeeson took out 1st and 5th place money in the B&C grade class with Wild Honey earning the blue bow and Goodnight Kiss taking 5th. Second place went to Victorian, Greg Smith with Big Higgs while Wes Joyce from Korrumburra claimed 3rd place money with LH Warsaw. Mark Nicholls and Hidden Agenda took 4th place. |
