Saturday was perfect - you could not ask for better conditions - a light breeze kept temperatures from getting too high with the brightest, bluest skies all day with not a whisp of cloud to be seen - the perfect weather for showjumping!

The mornings classes saw One Round Stakes classes for all grades, which is a fancy name for a Speed class.

The C&D grade class saw 50+ entries with entries in the B&C grade up around the 40 mark.

New South Welshman, Des GLeeson took out 1st and 5th place money in the B&C grade class with Wild Honey earning the blue bow and Goodnight Kiss taking 5th. Second place went to Victorian, Greg Smith with Big Higgs while Wes Joyce from Korrumburra claimed 3rd place money with LH Warsaw. Mark Nicholls and Hidden Agenda took 4th place.
THe all important course walk saw two gentlemen don the latest in "on the field fashion in Australian showjumping" - pictured left - Course Designer John Wilsher and showjumper John Patterson show what the sun smart ones wear!
Catching a quick coffee on course - pictured above - commentator Paul Williams catches up with former Aussie Rules Champion, turned showjumper Don Scott.
Showjumper and all round good bloke Russell "Rusty" Morrison was there to give pal Amanda Barclay a comforting pat before the big class of the day - pictured below left - before having an in
depth discussion about the course with John Wilsher - pictured below -
after which Rusty embarked on what can only be described as the strangest "dance" we have witnessed - but sure he is such a trend setter that no dfoubt the latest dance sensation will perhaps soon be seen on jumping courses everywhere!
Whatever you call it - Rusty knew his course well and jumped a super round on JF Didgeridoo - pictured below - finishing just out of the placings with four faults today.
Another who just missed out on a placing finishing with four faults was Amanda Barclay - pictured below -
riding one of the grand old men of showjumping Framfield - now in his 20's he would be offended to be left at home when the crew went jumping and he still tries his heart out for Amanda and was unlucky to lower one fence today.
